Meeting with the future……..
Permanently searching for design, Christian Guerin enlightened artist since 20 years has assembled hundreds of objects, made of different textures, either metal, wood, ceramic, or plastic, everywhere while racing around the 4 corners of the world, he meets well known talented artists or simply unknown artists and together they created unique objects, taking into consideration the inspiration of the moment.
Futuristic, thanks to the help of other artists, starting from sketches, he made a collection of “functional sculptures” as he loves to name them ; tables, chairs, stools, or whatever the enlightened amateur shall find happiness in creating.
Originally from Saint Paul de Vence in the South of France, a village well known all over the world where many artists love to meet each other. He assembles, disassembles, cuts into pieces, glues and paints to create spectacular lines which people either adore or are shocked by.
This collection is composed of spare parts of trucks, motor bikes or unknown engines. An extraterrestrial XXII century poetry shall be born from this new assembly.
Ecologist at heart, he recycles these metal parts, saved from destruction, to be reborn for the pleasure of the creator and his spectators.
A new life for these recycled metal parts which will know new horizons, new continents, and perhaps, after having reigned for a while in the homes of wealthy owners, shall finish in a contemporary art museum for the public to admire.
This new alchemist of modern times enjoys using a discreet humor while transforming these spare parts of vehicles into extraordinary sculptures, where the only extreme limit is his imaginative and creative brain
He invites you to sit down on one of these armchairs, to close your eyes and listen to the melody of this well adjusted mechanique. |
All our sculptures are original and signed by the respective artists.
It is a fairy in the office and home environment. With its ornamentation
and help, the space will have nimbus and artistic taste will be sublimed.
It integrates fashion and individuality, forms hypostatic union of nobleness and plainness, and gradually becomes a new family of nobility in art products. |
The great age of the chandelier was reached in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, when lead crystal concoctions sparkled and shimmered in ballrooms and drawing rooms across Europe and America, shedding warm candlelight, accompanied in our imaginations by the sound of music, murmuring voices, and the rustle of silk gowns.
When chandeliers began to hang in private homes, they were adorned only in the palaces and mansions of the wealthy and powerful.
Today, we are living the resurgence of interest in the chandelier!
Art glass lighting has evolved beyond Murano glass and lead crystal, as studio glass artists in the United States have brought their craft to the mainstream.
Glass artists along with metal and wood artists are creating functional art that can lift the ambience of a space in ways that were never imagined. |
